For half a heart into my eyes
I walked along the coast of skies and
shattered stained glass window panes;
The water drains and writes your name
In angel fire script
-Into this plain I stumbled, tripped
And never knew, whence come nor gone
Or why the stained glass sand marked on
The patterns of your eyes
I trolled the depths of both our souls
And tasted all the fire of our lies
It came, then, as no big surprise
No change can come to true good hearts
completely thought
of stone
If you are the one left
numb
alone
And know that it's not you who has
been
lost
The frost has frozen all the sand
And fused the water into glassy panes
Into which my heart
was thrown
And I, the one here all alone
I, drown-ed off the coasts that shone,
Am sure it still remains.
