What value can one put on a thought
taken to new heights
by the sound of waves crashing on a shingle beach,
by the absolute clarity of the stars on a moonless night,
by a gentle breeze stealthily making it's way through the darkness,
lifted through faith in a loving and awesome God,
to the very throne room of Heaven?
The vastness of the open sea is dwarfed into insignificance
by the immensity of space.
Distances mortal man can only dream of reaching,
never to really know,
never to touch.
Yet within the smallest drop of water
God is guiding each molecule in its predetermined destiny.
He sees a sparrow fall from the sky,
He is touched when we cry,
He holds each planet in its place and has a purpose for each star in space.
He knows us better than we do ourselves and yet
some of the lives He created don't give Him a second thought.
Without His pure and absolute love for you,
you won't even wake up in the morning.
Can you even begin to imagine how much power it takes
for just one star
to send it's light far enough for us to see it?
If it takes so long for the light from the stars to reach us
how do we know that the rest of the universe even exists still?
It all could have just gone out 500 years ago
and we haven't heard the news yet!
Except by faith…………..
